The 1Life mobile app is available in English, French (français), and Spanish (español).

Please note that the app language is automatically set to your device's language and cannot be changed within the app itself.

I just logged in for the first time and can't see anything. What's going on?

The first time you log in on a new device to the 1Life mobile app, your device will perform an initial sync with our servers for your account. Depending on the speed of your internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) and the amount of data your device needs to download, this initial sync can take up to a few minutes.

To make the initial sync as smooth as possible, we recommend (if possible) to do your first login in a place where you have good and stable internet during a time where you can let your phone sit uninterrupted for a few moments.

How do I stop getting email notifications?

Email notifications are sent to users with an associated email address both for reports and whenever something important has happened, such as something being assigned to you (a training course, document, or form to fill out or review) for your safety.

To align with 1Life Software's philosophy, the conscious choice has been made not to implement any way within the software to disable non-report emails.

If your company has report email notifications enabled, they can be individually disabled by performing the following steps:

  1. Log in to the web app.
  2. Click on "Your Account" at the top right of the screen, then click "User Profile".
  3. Click on the Notifications tab at the top left of the screen and adjust report notifications.

How do I stop getting notifications from the app?

To align with 1Life Software's philosophy, the 1Life mobile app only sends out notifications when something important has happened, such as something being assigned to you (a training course, document, or form to fill out or review) for your safety. This is not a social media or game application - it does not send out unnecessary notifications such as usage recommendations or advertisements.

Due to this, 1Life Software has made the conscious choice not to implement any way within the app to disable notifications. If for whatever reason you need to silence these notifications, there are ways to accomplish this in your mobile device settings. Instructions will not be provided in this article as we strongly advise against this course of action.

How do I reset my password?

If you are having trouble signing into your account, contact your company's web administrator. They will be able to both:

  • Verify that you're using the correct Username, and
  • Provide or reset your password for you if required.

How do I fill out a form?

To fill out a new form on the 1Life mobile app, from the Home screen:

  1. Tap on Forms to see the Forms screen.
  2. Tap on "Fill out new form" at the top to pull up the available form templates to select from.
  3. If you know where to find the form you're looking for, tap on the appropriate folder and then tap on the desired form template. If you don't know where to find the form you're looking for, you can tap on the search bar at the top.
  4. Fill out the selected form to the best of your ability. While some form questions are optional to fill out, others require an answer - and depending on the answer, can prompt a corrective action to also be filled out. For more information, see here.
  5. Once the form has been filled out to the best of your ability, tap Sign at the bottom right and sign off.
  6. From here, you can either finalize the form if there is nothing more to do and you are authorized to do so, or you can assign the form to someone else.

What does assigning a form do?

Once you have filled out a form you will be given the option to assign it to a recipient. There are a few reasons you would want to assign a form to someone else, such as having them:

  • Review a completed form before finalizing it,
  • Review corrective actions, or
  • Sign off on a filled out form.

Once you have assigned the

form, the selected recipient will see the form in their Requiring My Attention list.

Where do I find a form I haven't finished filling out yet?

Any form that you've started filling out - but haven't yet finalized or assigned - will be saved on your device as a draft. These drafts will be labelled as such under the "Requiring my attention" bar of your Forms screen.

If you are having trouble finding a draft, you can search for it on the Forms screen by tapping on the search bar and typing in the form name.

Please note that drafts are saved locally on the device they were created on. If you are on a different device, you will not be able to see your draft. If you have deleted and reinstalled the 1Life mobile app, your draft will be lost.

What happens when I finalize a form?

Finalizing a form is exactly what it means - the form is now final. Once a form has been finalized, its contents can no longer be modified.

Is there any easier way to fill out the same form again?

Any form that you have access to can be duplicated to make filling out a new form more convenient. When a form has been duplicated, each answer to form questions on that form will be copied to a new form for you to fill out. This way, you will only need to review the answers and make any necessary changes before signing off. Please note that any required signatures on the duplicated form will need to be signed again.

To duplicate a form, first find the form you are looking to duplicate. Tap on the ellipses (three dots) at the right of the form, then tap on Duplicate. A popup will appear for you to edit the name of the form - tap Save once you are content with the form name to bring up the duplicated form.

If you do not see the option to duplicate a form, it means duplication for that form template has been disabled. Additionally, form drafts cannot be duplicated.
