Release Notes - July 31, 2023

Our 1Life Team has been on fire for the last couple of months and I wanted to ensure that you have not missed anything that has taken place or will be taking place.

The key first item to note, we are getting ready to retire mySafetyAssistant.

The week of August 8th, we will be releasing a modification to mySafetyAssistant that will prevent users’ permissions from being modified or new users added. You will need to head over to the new and improved URL 1Lifesoftware for this task to be completed.

The second key item to note, we have server upgrades happening August 12th.

During this period, the web application will be temporarily unavailable. However, I want to assure you that any work completed on the mobile application during this time will be promptly uploaded to the database once the servers are back online

To keep you up to date on the items that have taken place, here are the main releases to date:

  • Everything an administrator needs is under 1 tab – Administration. No more switching
  • All users can now fill out new forms, review assigned forms, edit existing forms, save a draft form, and complete corrective actions all from the web.
  • Filled out Forms view – easily gather your information by using the side filters, column filters and date filters. Save yourself time and save the view for easy reference later. Interested in how it works view the video here.
  • Supervisor/Manager added to users, can view all their people’s content on the web.
  • All training records from the Learning management system are stacked. This means you will have only 1 visible record for each training course title per employee (i.e., if an employee has taken WHMIS 3 times, you will see only 1 record). Do not worry, you will see the previous ones when you click edit, under the history.
  • Requiring My Attention tab is a fabulous new feature for all users. If you see a red icon on the top navigation bar on Documents, this means you have items to action. Simply click on Documents and you will be brought to the Requiring My Attention screen.

We are committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless transition during these changes, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
