Release Notes - August 15, 2023

We have released a new version of the software today and wanted to ensure you are aware of the changes and other important information.

Important Announcements:

The retirement date of mySafetyAssistant will be August 31st, 2023.

The server upgrade is scheduled for August 19th, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 pm CST to 7:00 am CST. During this period, the web application will be temporarily unavailable. However, I want to assure you that any work completed on the mobile application during this time will be promptly uploaded to the database once the servers are back online.

In preparation for the retirement of mySafetyAssistant (web), we have made a couple of changes including any emails sent from the software that include links have been updated and redirected to 1Life Software, and in mySafetyAssistant (web), you will not be able to add or edit employees. If you are still using mySafetyAssistant, you can simply click on the link in the employee screen to take you to the 1Life Software and add/edit user(s).

In 1Life Software, your users look a little different today. That is because a user is automatically granted access to both web and mobile applications when they are active. This saves you a couple of clicks as you do not have to grant web and mobile access.

To view these changes, navigate to Administration – Users. Here you will see “Active users x/y” under your organization name. “x” represents active users and “y” represents available licences.

Also note the 1Life Support is no longer included in the license count.

You will also notice the columns now only have the permissions, Web Admin, Supervisor, and Manager. These changes can be seen in the picture below:

Other changes include;

  • Users can update the password at any time in the user profile.
  • We have fixed an issue that would cause longer load times in assigned documents, as well as a bug that created duplicate signed document records.
  • We have fixed an issue where forms that had tags removed were still filed under the removed tag.
  • We have, for now, changed the saved view of the filled-out forms. If you have saved a view, once you navigate away from the Filled-out Forms screen, the view will reset to Form Template. Simply click on the table header to select the saved views.
  • We have updated emails with clear subject lines for the purpose of knowing why you are receiving the email.
  • We have ensured users will receive one email when attached to a group, listing all the assigned items as well as when assigned items are attached after, ensuring the user gets an email of the new content.
